The annual
meeting of 17 villages of the north-west Dorida is one of the biggest
celebrations, as it is attended by more than 5,000 people. It is
organised by the federation of the north-west Dorida on the first Saturday of
the first fortnight in August, at “PRATTA-LAKKOS” in 1,500 m. altitude, on
PENTAGIOI – ARTOTINA, Street, in an endless forest full of firs, with view of
the valleys of Mornos and Evinos. It takes place in a suitably shaped area that
gathers the residents and tourists of the region. PRATTA – LAKKO attracts the
visitors because of the wild slopes of Vardousia, the peaceful valleys of
Evinos, the natural beauty of the region and the existing infrastructure
(water, barbecues etc).
