One should
go up Oiti, through the dirt road before the entry of the village Pira, in
order to admire the "Pira of Hercules". This is where the
mythical hero chose to be burnt after the oracle of the Oracle of Delphi.
There, at a later point the ancient temple of Pira was built, whose ruins can
be seen today.
