from the city there is the Byzantine Temple of Sotiros, built in a rocky and
abrupt slope. It is an important and well-maintained Byzantine monument
of the 11th or 12th century. The main temple has the shape of a cross and also
has a dome, in the southern side of the Temple, which is 2.5 m high. Two solar clocks
are craved on limestone.They have the usual semi-circular shape, are divided
into 12 sectors, and in the end of the radius the elements of hours are written.
